Hi Tina,
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, been on a bit of a hiatus. I really love the BJCMD! Its soooo easy to use, lightweight, folds easily, comfortable, fully reclines. It can be a little annoying having to find the wide aisles at the supermarket and not being able to manoeuvre in a small shop or even a big shop if its busy. Though mostly the shops I go in are fine (Target, kmart, Big W etc.). Now that my oldest is getting bigger he is starting to not enjoy being in the pram so I have been considering using a single with a skateboard attachment. But that's a whole other game because then he's not restrained. I also tried the Stider Plus in the shops and if you're getting it purely on the fact that its a single and therefore supposedly not as wide, don't do it. There is only about 5cm difference between that and the BJCMD. What did you end up getting? How old and how far apart are your children?

Hi Naomi,
Great information thanks! i am actually stuck between the strider plus and the city mini double. I already have a plus but the newer model feels so much easier and the seat isnt broken (mine was slightly crushed travelling between countries grrrrrr)....i was wondering how your finding ur BJCMD???
I found it really light weight at the shops and easy to fold compared to the strider....if you had the choice all over again would you go the same?

There is a few excellent websites that have majorly cheap deals. Check out babyzonedirect.com.au (based in wollongong) and pramwarehouse.com.au (based in toowoomba from memory). They have great package deals if you want to buy everything together. Strider has changed pretty consistently over the past few years but I really think the "plus" is here to stay!

I'm not in the need for a double as yet... but been looking at getting a strider plus anyway so we can have the option of the second seat on the back. Tim and I were in a baby shop this week and the sales woman (who may have just been trying to make sure we buy multiple prams) suggested that every year or 2 they change the attachments for the second seats so if you just buy the pram with the intent of possibly getting the second seat there's a chance it will have changed and you'll not be able to find it... The Strider has apparently been the best at staying with the design. I think we'll go the strider plus and just keep an eye open for a good deal on a second seat on ebay :)
